f you've ever looked forward to a long, relaxing beer after a hard day, this could be right up your street.
But careful - this ale's for soaking in , not drinking.
The new beer relaxation tubs at Hop in the Spa are making waves with fans of booze, and of taking it easy.
The brainchild of massage therapist Sally Champa, it's just opened its doors in Sisters, Oregon, and there's already a queue for the bar.
Champa's established a relaxation technique using hops - for baths, body wraps, facial scrubs and in big tubs of beer.
Its restorative effects have long been known in parts of Europe, where beer spas have opened in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic, although there you often get to drink the beer while you relax.
Now Champa - with Oregon's Deschutes Brewery providing beer and hops - has brought it to a Stateside audience.
Describing what guests can expect, Champa says a visit starts with a tipple for drinking - a beer, or glass of wine, if you prefer, reports Oregon Live .
Then a microbrew soak would take around 25 minutes, or there's a 45-minute hops on the body treatment.blog comments powered by Disqus
