Robert Plant Gives Up His Football Night For A TV Interview

When Robert Plant is not being former Led Zeppelin Rock God he is Planty from the Kidderminister Football Club.


Robert Plant now lives back in Shatterford, near Kidderminister and at age 69, once a week, plays football with the local club.

Robert would normally be found on the football field around 7pm but on October 11 had to work promotional duties for his new album ‘Carry Fire’ over at the BBC. The One Show took advantage of Planty’s absence and sent roving report Joe Crowley out to interview his team mates.

Bryan Adams Sets A Few Aussie Dates For 2018

Bryan Adams will return to Australia in January for four shows including two for A Day On the Green.


This will be Adams’ first ever Australian tour where he won’t be playing any major cities. All shows will be regional.

Joining Bryan Adams on tour is Thirsty Merc.

George Michael Documentary Sends Catalogue Soaring

Following the screening of the George Michael documentary ‘George Michael: Freedom’ George’s catalogue has returned to the pointy end of the album charts.


The 90-minute documentary screened on Showtime this week. The broadcast has fuelled sales of George’s albums on iTunes Australia this week.

George was working on the ‘George Michael: Freedom’ in the months leading up to his death. Towards the end of the documentary he is asked to write his own epitaph. He says, “I’d like to be ¬remembered as one of those last kind of big pop stars, in a sense that there was a certain glamour to it.”
