Amid news that the state government has suspended regulations on the hunting of deer, South East Local Land Services says it will target areas where the noxious animal is having the most impact on agriculture.

Land Services wants the co-operation of people on the land in efforts to control increasing numbers of deer.

Biosecurity officer for the south-east region, Mattherw Mc Naughton says the organisation is considering meetings to which people on the land will be invited.
