A Satisfaction survey of people living in the Upper Lachlan area has rated the local council well but the rating down somewhat when it comes to attitude on roads.

The survey conducted by Piazza Research shows 94% of those surveyed were satisfied with sewerage services while 97% were happy with the library.

On basic services such as waste removal and recycling, water supply and maintenance of parks and gardens, there were satisfaction ratings of between 74 and 88%.

93% of respondents were satisfied with the quality of life of where they lived and 60% with the Upper Lachlan council.

On the matter of roads, more than half of those surveyed were dissatisfied with the quality and maintenance of sealed roads.

About the same number did not support a rates increase for maintenance, repair, re-sheeting and re-sealing of roads.
