The arrest of a 25 year old man in Goulburn this week is the latest development in police investigations into drug supply across Australia using the Dark Web.

In February, as part of Strike Force Royden, detectives arrested and charged a 25 year old Callala Beach man and two women aged 20 and 24.

This followed identification of a sophisticated online drug distribution network operating from the South Coast.

Following further inquiries, detectives arrested a 25 year old man at Goulburn Police station on Tuesday.

He has been charged with four counts of import commerical quantity of border-controlled drugs and two counts of importing marketable quantity.

Police are alleging that the man was operating as an online vendor on the Dark Web and supplying prohibited drugs including cocaine, MDMA, LSD, cannabis, ice and other substances.
