There was significant disruption in Goulburn yesterday, due to hail and heavy rain.

Council reported the closure of a number of roads early in the afternoon but these had re-opened by about five pm.

There was flash flooding in parts and the SES was attending to 37 incidents at four o'clock with reports of gutters blocked with hail and water flowing through some homes.

There is a report that in one residence, there was a metre of water which was floating off the fridge.

NSW Fire and Rescue attended to an incident at a complex at Bradfordville where three to four asbestos ceiling tiles had fallen down due to heavy hail and rain.

A spokesman says the area was cordoned off and made safe.
