What has been described as chaotic, immersive and an interrelated sequence of installations will form the basis of the next exhibition at the Goulburn Regional Art Gallery.

The solo exhibition, 'The Curtain Breathed Deeply' by Justene Williams will open on Saturday, May 27th.

Those attending can expect the entire gallery to be transformed by the chaos which intends to immerse the onlooker.

This will be the Sydney artists most ambitious undertaking to date, with references to Picasso combining with influences of hip-hop music and other contemporary themes.

The artist says the exhibition pays tribute to her late father, to his life and work and the hospital curtain which marked the final stage of his life, when he passed away from lung cancer.
