The funeral of a man who was intimately involved with the community of Crookwell will be held tomorrow.

Frank Andrew Willis made his mark on the town in so many ways.

He was Crookwell shire councillor for sixteen years, serving as Shire President from 1974 to 1980 but his interests were not only in local government.

He played a major part in founding the Crookwell Apex club and won the town's Citizen of the Year award in 2008.

A renowned wool classer, Frank Willis was also a potato farmer over many years.

Another of his caps was chairman of Crookwell Taralga Aged Care.

His funeral grave-site service will be held tomorrow at eleven am at the Crookwell cemetery.
