Bungonia History Day Talks and optional walks: 

 
County Argyle: Bushrangers and Convicts - Listen to two enthralling talks on Argyle County local outlaws, their impact all along the earliest road south; the convict gangs their Stockade and their punishments. Put yourself in the picture, touch the replica instruments and walk the Towrang site with a master of its detailed history. A day of well known Historians & Speakers. 
 
9:45-10:15 am: Entry and registrations
 
10:15am: John Jervis; The Towrang Stockade (Convict road builders) 'Lifers' in chains, in boxes (mobile cells), established in 1835 used until 1844 includes maps, replica artefacts and models 
 
Morning tea: Hall Display: Old Houses and other buildings, Bungonia. 
 
11:10am: Roger Bayley; Bushrangers, Crime and Mayhem; attacks on Colonists; the dangerous roads; Justice in the Bush. 
 
12 midday- Lunch:  Powerpoint History of the Old School Bungonia; Sales. 
OPTIONAL tour of Towrang stockade site with John Jervis. 
OPTIONAL self-guided tour of the Historic Village of Bungonia. 
 
Cost includes:  morning tea, presentations, Q&A, displays & light lunch
